These pants in the warehouse sale are factory seconds with minor fabric imperfections that are outside of our normal tolerance. During the handloom weaving process, slubs and lines sometimes appear that are outside of our normal tolerance.

Handmade Details

HAND LOOMED

Our hand loomed fabric is made in rural India by artisan weavers using pedals, shuttles, and manpower to weave the fabric, all without the aid of electricity.

The multi-step process is carried out by the community, from warping yarns and winding cones, to starching fabric and setting up the loom.

The weavers we work with are either entrepreneurs with looms in their homes or part of a weaving revival project or NGO.

Care

Machine wash delicate in cold water with PH neutral soap. Do not bleach. Dry flat, warm iron if needed, or professional dry clean.
