Dutch label TOCCA's designer, Marie-Anne Oudejans, sure has designed a magical cafe in Jaipur, India. It transports guests to a world that could be mistaken for Alice's Wonderland. Located inside the Narain Niwas Palace Hotel grounds, Bar Palladio is a fanciful cafe that gives you a "I'm really not at home, and would be OK living here forever" feeling. No detail is overlooked-- from the tented ceilings to muraled walls to the nightly fireworks above during wedding season, it's a planeride-worthy destination on its own.
What is it that makes it feel so enchanting? Is it the gaggle of peacocks roaming among canopied couches on the front lawn? The fancifully mixed prints and cloth tented ceilings? No need to spend your time wondering. Just enjoy it.
erin wears the sabi sand caftan (l) and katie is in the vana blockprint (made outside of jaipur!)
If the colors and patterns are making you wish you bought another scarf while wandering the markets that day, stop by the adjoining boutiques on the hotel property on your way out.
