a staff favorite for its smocked elastic waistband, our granada dress is back for fall in a fresh new colorway and in a super soft handloomed cotton. dress it up with strappy sandals in the heat of late summer and layer a denim jacket over it when the weather starts to cool down.
jamdani is a special weave that takes great time and skill to master. the entire process happens without the aid of modern technology. each "buti," or motif, is woven by hand, one line at a time as the fabric itself is woven on a hand loom. this heritage craft is native to the indian state of west bengal where our artisan partners are located. this fabric is woven and processed in small villages, in the homes of weavers.
100% cotton, lined in 100% cotton, elastic waist.
