the cassis is a classic tank dress, made special with a ruffle detail lining the side seams, armholes, and neckline. comes with a thin belt to double wrap. slits on both sides help this light dress move freely.

made of a super soft cotton/silk blend, this fabric is hand block printed with carved wooden blocks by 4th generation printers in india using heritage methods. the dress is lined in 100% cotton voile.

details: pullover styling, single button at back neck.

care: this garment is made of cotton silk, and this beautiful fabric requires special care. silk is a natural protein; therefore, use only gentle detergent without protease, enzymes, alcohol, bleach or alkalines (no "stain fighters"). these will dissolve silk, meaning it will disintegrate. we recommend woolite. be careful with labels as many detergents are marketed as hypoallergenic or gentle but will dissolve silk. click here for more about garment care.
