this tiered versatile silhouette is back in our super soft indigo fabric. elastic neckline can be worn on or off the shoulder and the neck closure can be unbuttoned for a deeper v.  elastic cuffs can also be bloused and worn higher for a puffy sleeve.

this dress has two belt options - a flat tie belt or an elastic belt. both belt options are referenced in the images.

hand block printed by a family of master printers in bagru, india using natural indigo dye and "dabu" mud printing method. mud is stamped to form the pattern and sawdust is applied to create a barrier before the fabric is dipped into a 12' deep indigo vat. once washed and dried in the sun, the indigo and imperfect print appear. the color of the blue varies a bit piece to piece, which is all part of the beauty. 

the unique and imperfect beauty of this dye and printing method comes with special qualities. therefore, careful care is essential to maintain the color and minimize dye transfer. skin transfer is unlikely but possible, and be mindful of transfer to lighter fabrics that might rub against the fabric. fading is normal and adds to the story ; this fabric will fade in the sun and over time.

100% cotton voile. unlined. pullover styling. elastic neck and cuff. tie belt.

care: hand wash separately in cold water using pH neutral gentle soap (this is important!), avoid bleach, air dry away from sunlight. bleeding will occur. you can use a warm iron to smooth out any wrinkles. dry cleaning is also an option. 

fern is 5'7" and wears a small. fits true to size with an intentionally voluminous fit. slightly sheer in sunlight.
